Since the summer of 2011 our thirdocean team has called 221 Yonge Street home. 221 Yonge Street in Toronto is also the home of the ING DIRECT Cafe and Network Orange.
The downtown cafe is a location that is open 7 days a week and features wifi (free), coffee, pastries and fresh orange juice with all proceeds going to local non-profits and charities. On a regular basis one can see people working there on their laptops and even a few people doing their personal banking. And on a weekly basis one can find at least 2 events taking place at the Cafe.
One of our favourite things about the Cafe is the people. The staff at 221 Yonge are some of the most friendly, hospitable and accommodating staff we have ever come across. Which is why we’re excited that the BankConnect Event is not only being hosted at the ING DIRECT Cafe but is also being sponsored by them.
