ANNOUNCEMENT: Our Gaming and Technology Series #GCTO
-
Our past series have included MusicConnect, FashionConnect, BankConnect and EduConnect – just to name a few.
Incase you missed the announcement at the end of our last XConnect Series Event, EduConnect – for the month of August we’ll be focusing on Gaming. Toronto, is quickly becoming a thriving hot bed for game development in Canada – and so we are enthused to be bringing GameConnect to you.
With every industry, we realize that the extent of which what could be discussed could be massive. That said, to ensure high quality programming – we try and narrow the scope down as much as we can.
Here it us:
The social interactions of gaming – and leveraging online social networks
Mobile and tablet games
Utilizing location data
Building game player communitiesWe want to open up discussions on success stories, horror stories, opportunities and what can be done to further support the landscape.
GameConnect is designed to work with our usual themed programming: In August, the content on our blog and on our show will speak to this series. On the evening of August 29th, our series goes offline as we take our exploration on Gaming + Technology to a panel discussion in Toronto, Ontario and shortly after that, we will be releasing a recap video and report on our findings.
